Aims and Scope

Poligrafi, the international edition of the Slovenian journal Poligrafi (1996- ), is a peer-reviewed annual scholarly journal for the interdisciplinary philosophical and anthropological study of religion covering the fields of comparative religion, history of religion, anthropology of religion, political anthropology, philosophy of religion and comparative and intercultural philosophy. Members of its international editorial board are distinguished scholars in religious studies, intercultural philosophy and anthropology. The journal is published by the bilingual University of Primorska/Università del Litorale (Faculty of Humanities Koper/Facoltà di Studi Umanistici di Capodistria, Department of Anthropology/Dipartimento di Antropologia; Koper/Capodistria, Slovenia) and Society for Comparative Religion (Ljubljana, Slovenia). Its primary aim and mission is publishing interdiciplinary scholarly articles and book-reviews covering the full range of world religions with a more prominent accent on related anthropological and intercultural philosophical thematic units. Contemporary religious as well as more broadly scoped politico-ethical topics (social justice, world poverty, human rights etc.) also fall within the the journal's editorial profile.

Poligrafi is published with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
